The story behind the XC 50

Entirely designed and developed in France at the B'Twin Village (Lille), this mountain bike is the fruit of the work of an expert team of passionate cross-country mountain bikers. The Rockrider team has designed and tested this XC 50 mountain bike with its test riders.

SWITCH AND RIDE: ONE BIKE, MANY RIDES

SWITCH & RIDE system is simple and worry-free: compatible with 3 wheel size designs. (The larger the wheel diameter, the better the passability, and the smaller the wheel diameter, the better the flexibility)

1/ Compatible with 27.5-inch, 27.5+-inch or 29-inch wheels.
2/ The second or third pair of wheels can be replaced without troublesome operations
3/ Enjoy riding on various terrains!!

CHOOSING YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE SIZE

Several sizes available:

S: between 1.50m and 1.64m
M: between 1.65m and 1.74m
L: between 1.75m and 1.84m
XL: between 1.85 m and 1.95 m

If you are on the edge between 2 sizes, we recommend following the exact size listed.

Frame

The stiff, lightweight ROCKRIDER XC frame has optimised geometry for physical performance.
It was designed with shorter bases to leave space for wide tyres.

Made of triple-thickness 6061 and 6013 aluminium.
Lifetime warranty on the Switch And Ride frame, single chainwheel only.
148 mm x 12mm rear axle.
"Press fit 92" bottom bracket.
31.6 mm diameter saddle tube.
Compatible with double bottle cage (except in size S).
Weight in size S: 1.58 kg.

FRONT SUSPENSION

The ROCKSHOX JUDY AIR fork has 100 mm of travel so that you can get over any obstacle. Quickly lock and unlock the fork with the 2-position Combo Lock locking system on the handlebars.
Suspension compatible with 27.5" and 27.5" PLUS wheels.

Drive train

The XC50 uses a completely new SRAM single-plate transmission system. SRAM SX 1x12 shifting ensures mountain bike durability, precision and better control. The SX integrated crank pressure plate and DUB bottom bracket ensure efficient and stable pedaling force transmission.

HANDLEBAR / STEM / STEERING / GRIPS

Stability helps you find an attacking position. Rockrider Comp Flat handlebar width is 680 mm, which is in line with Asian shoulder width and increases control stability. The headset system uses press-fit sealed bearings, which is flexible and efficient. -17° 80mm stem provides an attack angle more suitable for XC

SADDLE / SEAT POST

The ROCKRIDER XC/AM cushion weighs 265 grams. The aluminum alloy seat post is height-adjustable. Seat post measures 31.6 x 400.

BRAKES

Customized 180/160 mm TEKTRO TKD 32 dual hydraulic disc brakes are customized and debugged for advanced users. The operation feels smooth and the braking effect is moderate, which can prevent users from causing accidents due to direct lockup in case of sudden danger

EASILY TRANSPORT AND STORE YOUR MOUNTAIN BIKE

The front and rear wheels attach and remove in 1 motion: you just need a hex key (size 6).
The rear derailleur has a screed that locks and unlocks easily to easily attach or remove the rear wheel.

WEIGHT

12.2kg in size S, without pedals. 12.3 kg in size M, without pedals.
12.5 kg in size L, without pedals.
12.6 kg in size XL, without pedals.
The weight can vary based on the tolerance of the components. The bike is supplied with B'Twin Flat Pro platform pedals.
The total weight (bike + rider) should not exceed 120kg.
