TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

Design

The ROCKRIDER 560 was designed and created in Suzhou, China, by a team of experts and cycling enthusiasts dedicated to designing our mountain bike Sport Touring line.
Production was also done near Suzhou, as close to our Decathlon stores as possible.

Frame

Rockrider CGF Pro (Comfort Geometry Frame) 6061 aluminium frame for 27.5" wheels.
"Double butted" front triangle that makes the frame 300 g lighter than the frame of the CGF Evo.
Comfortable seating position thanks to raised steering.
Thin 27.2 mm set post: the bike has a saddle with over 5 times greater shock absorbency than a traditional frame.
Low bottom bracket at 69° angle for improved turning speed.
Short rear wheel base for maximum manoeuvrability.

Front suspension

Rockshox 30 Silver, 180 g lighter than the fork of the Rockrider 540.
Conical fork for greater rigidity in the handlebars when steering.
100 mm wheel base with +/- adjustable fork stiffness (enabled by an internal coil spring).
Hydraulic internal cartridge valve to control bounce.
Fork equipped with a lockout to prevent bobbing on faster terrain. Lockout activated directly from the handlebars through the Combo Lock shifter, ergonomic and integrated

No rear suspension.

Drive train

SRAM S600 crankset with hollow axle, with double plate 24/38 teeth.
Rear derailleur 10 speed SRAM X5.

B'Twin Sport Oversize aluminium handlebar; 660 mm (size M), and 680 mm (L).
Exclusive B'Twin aluminium stem, 80 mm (sizes M, L).
Stem can be raised by up to 3 cm, with 5 settings (+ 0 mm, + 7.5 mm, + 15 mm, +22.5 mm, +30 mm).
Semi-integrated A-headset.
Ergonomic B'Twin handles (non-cylindrical): more natural and less tiring grip. Handles have integrated tightening rings.

Wheels

Aero Trail Evo wheels with double-walled rims: lightweight, stiff, and durable.
"Sleeved" rims and lighter tyres: the complete wheel set is 600 g lighter than the Rockrider 540!
27.5" diameter: the best balance of comfort and performance.
Designed with 28 spokes to reduce weight while still guaranteeing rigidity and strength.

Tyres

Kenda Fifty K1104 27.5" x 2.10 tyres.
Lightweight tyres made for dry terrain, with high performance knobs for excellent grip in turns.

Saddle / seat post

Exclusive B'Twin Ergofit Evo saddle offers outstanding comfort thanks to its wider "hammock" shape and good distribution of pressure points regardless of the rider's pelvis width.B'Twin Sport aluminium seat post, with a 27.2 diameter, offering a natural seat flex 5 times greater than a classic seat post.
400 mm long, offering a broad adjustment range.
Ergonomically-designed seat clamp that requires half the amount of effort to close.

Pedals

Comes with B'Twin Flat Evo resin pedals: both sturdy and lightweight.
