TECHNICAL INFORMATIONS

How does wearing a top help when snorkelling?

Even in water at 30°C, you will end up feeling cold! With a snorkelling top, you can snorkel for longer. The neoprene foam protects you against the cold and the other components protect you against the sun, without limiting your movements in the water. Choose a top for longer and more comfortable excursions!

What is the difference between freediving and snorkelling?

At Subea, the Decathlon diving brand, we decided on a simple way to define the difference between our freediving and snorkelling products: From the moment you hold your breath and swim under the surface of the water even a few meters, it is freediving. Conversely, if one stays on the surface, this is snorkelling.
