The bite valve cannot be locked, therefore it is recommended to carry the gel or the fruit mix with their white cap on outside of workouts.

Cleaning recommendations

Rinse the bite valve before using the first time.
After each use, clean the bite valve with hot water. Do this by rinsing the pinch valve in trickling water while pressing it between your fingers to open the slit and release the gel.
Leave the bite valve to dry with the top upwards.
