In 2022, Yoann Kowal, one of the top athletes on the KIPRUN team, wanted to run his first Marathon in London.In just a few months, with Yoann's expert guidance gleaned from 15 years at the highest level, the design team achieved a technical feat that combines dynamism, cushioning, and light weight.This co-creation has led to the development of a shoe that can break records.

TESTED AND APPROVED BY OUR INTERNATIONAL ATHLETES

Our athletes have shattered their records with the KD900XLD, which has shown its full potential.Our athlete, Bravin Kiptoo, ran the eleventh-fastest time in history at the 10K race in Madrid, 27:02, the same time as the legend Haile Gebrsellasie.Méline Rollin, our French athlete, finished 18th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Riga in 2023, with a time of 1:10:35.

The research and development studies have shown that a lighter product improves running performance by reducing energy consumption.
To design the KIPRUN KD900X LD, we made no sacrifices on comfort. We selected the most lightweight materials and optimised the sole design. As a result, the KIPRUN KD900XLD shoe weighs 170 g in size 5, which is 10% lighter than the previous KD900X model.
